Roger Lee Wolfe, 69, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2022.

He was born on January 12, 1953 in Charleston to the late John and Arbutus Wolfe Cochrane.

Roger was the Mayor of Dunbar, from 2005 to 2008. He attended both West Virginia State University and Boyce Bible School and graduated in 1984. He retired from Conrail Railroad as an engineer after 34 years of service. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Roger is survived by his son, Scott Wolfe (Claudia Dangerfield) of Charleston; daughter, Heather Ann Wolfe of Clendenin; step-daughter, Amy Beirn of Clendenin; sister, Sylvia Ann Cook of Dunbar; his two nephews, John Cook of New Mexico and Roger Cook of Cross Lanes; and his dear friends, Rick and Missy Howell of Belle.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m on Thursday May 26, at Fairlawn Baptist Church, Dunbar with Pastor Joe Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Fairlawn Baptist Church, Dunbar.
