Ronald Lee Foster, 79, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Hubbard Hospice House.
He was a loving husband of 61 years, a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to many. Ronald was a veteran in the United States Army. He was a member of the Southridge Free Will Baptist Church at Davis Creek. Ronald was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the local Union 132.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Mable Foster.
He is survived by his loving wife, Genevieve Foster of South Charleston; daughter, Melody (Timothy) McGraw of South Charleston; brothers, Donald (Wanda) Foster of South Charleston and David Foster of South Charleston; sisters; Louvella Hannan of South Charleston, Mary Ellen (Ronald) Sowards of Nitro, and Lora Mae (Nile) Clinton of Dayton Florida; grandchildren, Gennie and Meggan Bradley of South Charleston and one great grandchild, Addy Bradley of South Charleston.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, with the Rev. David Cooper officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
