Ronald L.P. Moss, 79, of Cross Lanes, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.

He was born on April 1, 1939, in McKinnery, to the late Harold and Georgia Moss.

Ron's life was full of the joy of living, and his presence brought that joy to others. He enjoyed working on race cars, rebuilding old automobiles and engines with his brother and friends, golfing with his grandson, and spending time with his other grandchildren.

He was a U.S Army veteran and served on the pistol team, winning many awards. He was recently inducted into the National Drag Racing Association Hall of Fame and was a retiree from Rhone Poulenc.

Ron is survived by his daughters, Rena Moore of Canonsburg, PA, Marguerite Layne and husband William of Fruit Cove, FL; grandchildren, Dakota, Hunter, Collyn, Torin, and Coleson; brothers, Steven Moss and wife Mary Jean of South Charleston, Phillip Moss and wife Bonnie of Kentucky; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of life will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
