LeeAnn, 87, of Beckley, WV died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

She was born on May 18, 1936 in Leslie, WV to the late Virginia (Pete) and Grover Cook.

LeeAnn was previously employed by Raleigh County Schools as a cook, and held several retail positions.  She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, LeeAnn was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Cook, Donnally Cook, Joe Cook, and Jerry Cook.

She is survived by her sister, Leah Cook of Leslie, WV; brother, Jimmy Cook of Texas; children, Gary Carter of Beckley, Shanda Dillion (Mike) of Charleston, Saundra Beale of Rincon, GA, Michael Carter (Stephanie) of Columbia, TN, and James Carter of BonAqua, TN; grandchildren, Brandon Carter (Candice) of Beckley, Andrew Matheny (Kristen) of Morgantown, Sara Smith (Andy) of Charlotte, NC, Aaron Carter of Beckley, Cara Steele of Virginia Beach, VA, Tyler Beale of Ricon, GA, Michael Beale of Guyton, GA, and Jonathan, Victoria and Ethan Carter of Columbia,TN; great-grandchildren, Sierra and Kaylee Carter, Harper, Miles and Sawyer Matheny, Elliot and Margot Smith.

At LeeAnn's request, her body has been donated to science at WVU.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 23 at the Moose Lodge in Beckley.
