Obituary

Rosalee Thompson Spencer, 77, of South Charleston, passed away on Friday,September 7, 2007 in Golden Living Center, Glasgow, after a long illness.

She was born on January 23, 1930 to the late Dave and Ethel Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Spencer.

Rosalee is survived by her sons, Jasper David Spencer, and his friend,Jean Proctor of Sissonville, Tommy Spencer, and his wife, Monica of South Charleston, daughters, Sharon Escue of Tennessee, Susan Cranmore, and her husband, Bruce of Tennessee, Teresa Stump, and her husband, Allen of Cedar Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Edward "Budgie" and Greda Thompson of Rainelle; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Enoch Hobbs of Chesapeake; 6 grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Golden Living Center for the wonderful care they showed Rosalee.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Rev. Charles Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
