Obituary

Roy R. Cox, 94, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

A long time resident of Spring Hill, he was retired from Union Carbide and was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Spring Hill, where he taught the Men's Bible Class for years.

Mr. Cox is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, June and George Gray of Anniston, Ala, Nova and Bob Childress of Sissonville and Nancy and Edmond Mullins of Hurricane; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Heidi Cox of Huntington; grandchildren, Larry and David Gray, Ed and Paul Mullins, John and Joe Childress, Jan Jarrett, Heather Porres and Brian Cox; great granddaughter, Macy Childress.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. George H. Gray, the Rev. Arnold Belcher and the Rev. Steve White officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Paul United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 4606 Kanawha Turnpike, South Charleston, WV 25309.
