Ruby Frances Lamb, 82, of Winfield, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 26, 2018.

She was born on August 22, 1935, in Nitro to the late Isaac Hansford and Zelma Lorana McCoy.

Ruby formerly lived in Florida where she retired from Florida State Health Department. She was a sweet, kind, caring, loving and precious lady.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Theodore Lamb; brothers, Hansford Leroy McCoy, Harold Keith McCoy, Joseph McCoy, Earl Ray McCoy; sisters, Leona Adoline Smith, Josephine McCoy; and nephew, Mark McCoy.

Ruby is survived by her brother, Robert Lee McCoy of Dover, DE; sister, Edna Mae Holt of Sissonville; nephews, Charles E. Holt Jr, of Charleston, Richard McCoy of Florida, Reginald McCoy of Florida, Steven McCoy of Eleanor, Bart McCoy of Minnesota, Travis McCoy of South Carolina, Bobby Joe McCoy of Tennessee, Michael Scott McCoy of Tennessee, Kirk McCoy of Delaware; nieces, Fonda Pulliam of Florida, Sandi Newsom of Florida, Alta Van Bibber of Sissonville, Sheila McCoy of Eleanor and Robin Tilley of Tennessee.

There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar with Pastor Steve Morrow officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
