Russell R. Kay's Obituary
Russell R. Kay, 87, of Dunbar, passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Kay was formerly employed by Indiana Glass Co. and was a US Army veteran, having been a recipient of the Purple Heart during WW II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola, his niece, Joyce Harmon and ten brothers and sisters.
Mr. Kay is survived by his sister, Velma Thurston of Dunbar; stepdaughter Phyllis Williams of Leon and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 31, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from noon until service time at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
