Ruth Goldsberry, 87, of Charleston passed away to her heavenly home surrounded by the thoughts and prayers of her family and friends on December 1, 2013.

She was born June 1, 1926 in Charleston. She was a member of Northside Church of Nazarene, Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Goldsberry and great grandson, Mason.

She is survived by her children: Wayne Goldsberry and wife, Crystal of Charleston; Gwen Comer and husband, David of Dallas, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Christine Roach, Dallas, Texas; Craig Goldsberry, Charleston; Kevin Goldsberry, Eleanor; Lisa DeMoss, Morgantown; Tina Miller, Charleston; 14 great grandchildren: Megan, Ryan, Tyler, Aaron, Ross, Morgan, Madison, Emma, Ella, William, Molly, Gavin, Hailey, and James; and her many nieces and nephews.

We wish to thank the caregivers and friends at the Broadmore Assisted Living in Hurricane for their devoted care and support.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Northside Church of the Nazarene, Charleston.

Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at Northside Church of the Nazarene, Charleston.
