Ruth Faye Hartwell's Obituary
Ruth Faye Hartwell, born August 16, 1947, went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Claude Hartwell and their four children, Patricia Dunlap and her husband, William, Mark Hartwell, Steve Hartwell and his wife, Vanessa and Lisa New; grandchildren, Samantha Dunlap, William Dunlap, Zachary New, Savana New and Jordan Hartwell. Also surviving are her sisters, Eva Wolfe, Della Moles, Lola Mace and her husband Melvin and Ora Jean Holt and brothers, Oscar Lawson and his wife, Linda, and Edward Lawson and his wife, Kitty and a special nephew, Timothy Abbott and his wife, Ann Marie and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 1, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dorris Walls officiating. Burial will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 31, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hubbard Hospice House West for their wonderful care.
