Ruth Ann Moles, age 76, died November 4, 2017, at CAMC General, after a short illness.
She was born April, 12, 1941. She was an honors graduate of Dunbar High School. She graduated with highest honors from the Morris Harvey College School of Nursing.
She was a Registered Nurse and an Oncology Certified Nurse, having retired as Nurse Manager of the Thomas Hospital Chemotherapy Unit. After retirement from Thomas Hospital, she worked briefly for Drs. Shah and Jogenpoly in their private clinic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daris Moles; parents, Clifton B. and Coloma R. Crouch; maternal grandparents, Bill and Delia Slaughter; paternal grandparents, Charles and Emma Frazier; sisters, Wanda C. Dempsey and Terri Jean Crouch; and beloved cat of 22 years, Elwood.
She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Moles and wife, Debbie of Beverly, Ohio; Kerry Moles and wife, Rosie of Pratt, WV; grandsons, Aaron Moles of St. Albans, Jason Moles of Cross Lanes and Justin Moles and wife, Catrina of Tracy, CA; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lea Moles of Cross Lanes; sister, Lynn Zickafoose (Danny) of Lookout, WV; several nieces and nephews; step-grandsons, Jacob (Cindy) and Caleb Strahler, of Beverly, OH; step-great-grandchildren, Aiden Sheets of Pratt, WV, Evie Strahler of Beverly, OH.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7 at Keller Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. Procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, is serving the Moles family.
