Ruth (Crouch) Young , from Plant City, FL., formerly from South Charleston and Dunbar, WV, died May 3, 2019.

She was born Jan, 2, 1929 in South Charleston, WV to her parents Roma & Oma Crouch. She was fourth of five children, two brothers & two sisters, Arthur, Bill, Janice, and Lucille.

She was married to A. Carroll Young for 70 years.

Ruth attended South Charleston High School, University of Tennessee, Gallaudet, St. Augustine School for the Deaf & Blind, and the University of Sarasota. She held a BBA, MBA, & PhD in Special Education.

She was a member of Bayside Community Church in Tampa, FL and said "My life was a gift from GOD. The greatest comfort of my life is the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ our LORD." See Romans 6:23.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, WV, on Friday, May 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Graveside services at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar, WV, on Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m.
