July 16, 1940 – January 28, 2025
Sally Annette (Richardson) Rutledge, 84, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 28, 2025. She was born on July 16, 1940, at her home in Dunbar, WV, to Fred B. Richardson and Francis O'Dell Richardson O'Neal.

Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless warmth will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C. Rutledge; daughters, Debby L. Rutledge and Becky E. Turley; brother, Charles D. Richardson and his wife, Margaret; and brothers-in-law, Harlow Rutledge and Joe Caudill.

Smith and husband, Rick Smith; son, Joshua L. Rutledge and wife, Faith Rutledge; son-in-law, Barry Turley Sr.; grandchildren, Joey Turley and wife, Heather, Andrew Rutledge, Barry Turley-Moore and husband, Angelo, Jeremy Smith, Matthew Smith and wife, Michelle, Brittany Smiley and wife, Makayla, Havyn Rutledge, Myrah Rutledge, and Kinsley Rutledge; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Trump and his dedicated staff for their compassionate care over the years. A special and profound thanks goes to her brother, Fred Richardson, for his unwavering love and devoted care.
A tribute to Sally's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Dunbar United Methodist Church. A private burial will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends starting at 6:00 PM, prior to the service on Saturday.
