Sandra Kay Boardman

Sandra Kay Boardman, 67, of Dunbar, WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2026, with her family by her side after a short battle with an illness.

Sandra was born May 28,1959, in Dunbar to the late Margaret and Vivian “Red” Honaker.

She was a life long citizen of Dunbar. She was a hard worker who dedicated over 25 years to CAMC. Above all else she was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a proud mawmaw. Her favorite and happiest times was spent with her family.

Sandrawas preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; David and Richard Honaker; and her beloved Pomeranian, Elvis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sweetheart and husband of 45 years, James Boardman; her daughter, Kimberly Boardman; her sons, Jimmy and Matthew Boardman ( Mackenzie); her grandchildren, Briella and Myles Boardman; her sister, Sharon Shepherd (David); her niece, Michelle Shepherd; her brother, Clayton Honaker (Jeanie); as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
