Sandra Poe's Obituary
Sandra Smith Poe, 69, of Spring Hill, passed away on Friday August 5, 2016 at Thomas Hospital after a long illness.
She was born January 11, 1947 to Opie D. and Aimee M. Smith in Charleston.
Sandy retired from State of West Virginia DHHR after 17 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her father; Opie D. Smith, brother; Terry D. Smith and sister; Carol L. Hintz.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 47 years, James H. Poe; daughters, Jamie K. Snodgrass and husband John of South Charleston, Judy Pray and husband Josh of Charleston, mother; Aimee M. Smith of Dunbar, grandson; Corey Snodgrass, granddaughters; Kaitlyn Kelly, Zoe Pray, Ellie Pray, and great-granddaughter; Mia Manetta. She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2pm at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Philip Bowles officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends and family may call 2 hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association, 2102 Kanawha Blvd. E., Charleston, WV 25311.
