Scott Alexander Strader, 52, of Charleston passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025.

He was born on October 25, 1972 to the late Elmer Allan and Sandra Jean Ferrell Strader.

Scott attended both Capital High School and West Virginia State College, worked at Charleston Area Medical Center Hospital.  He was an avid Star Wars and New Orleans Saints fan.

Left to remember Scott are his brother, Shawn Allan Strader and his wife, Tara; his uncle, William "Chip" Ferrell and his wife, Felicia; his aunts, Andrea Strader and Cynthia Davis and her husband, C.W.; along with his cousins, Richard Ferrell, Michael Ferrell and his wife, Meghann, Lori Davis, and Todd Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
