Sharon Kay Bush

Sharon Kay Bush, 84, of Dunbar left this earth on September 5, 2026, just 22 days shy of her 85th birthday at Sweetbrier Assisted Living. She was born September 27, 1941, to Clarence and Imogene Jarvis.

She was a graduate of South Charleston High School. She retired in 2005 from Thomas Memorial Hospital as a stenographer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Imogene; her husband of 48 years, Ron Bush; her sisters, Clarice “Rae” Jones and Margaret Kendrick; her brothers, Errol and Gary Jarvis; and her nephews, Lee and Todd Arthur.

Sharon is survived by her son, Dana Mitchell (Crystal); stepson, Ronnie Bush (Laura); sisters, Luanna Jones, Linda Arthur (David) and Marty Melkus; and several nieces and nephews, Tessa, Sarah, Kaid, Kambrie, Jeff, Jim, Allison, Adam, Aaron, Matt, Lee, Caroline and Natina.

We would like to thank the staff of Sweetbrier and Hospice for the loving care the last few months of her life.

She will be cremated and laid to rest at Cunningham Memorial Park at a later date.
