Sharon Kay Hutchison Hill

It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Hutchison Hill of Charleston, WV. Sharon transitioned to her second life, free from pain and suffering on August 20, 2026, while at CAMC General ER.

Sharon, 76, was born in Huntington, WV, on September 29, 1949. Sharon relocated and grew up on Charleston’s West Side. Sharon attended West Side schools and graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in 1967.

Shortly after graduation, she began work at the C&P Phone Company. Deciding what was important to her, Sharon quit and turned her focus to motherhood and raised two boys.

Preceding her in death were her father and mother, Kenneth and Ida Hutchison, and brother, David Lee Hutchison.

Sharon is survived by her husband, David P; sons, James C (JC) of Ohio, Kenneth C (KC); and grandson, London C Hill of South Charleston who was the light of her life.

In lieu of flowers, cards or phone calls, should you feel compelled to honor Sharon, a donation to the Kanawha/Charleston Humane Association, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311, in her memory would be appreciated.

Honoring Sharon’s wishes, there will be no services.
