Sharon Hartley Johnson Beasley, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026.

She was an incredible mother, grandmother, sister, wife, friend, educator and member of her church. Her endless love, wisdom, and kindness have always been the cornerstone of our family. We were blessed to call her mom and her grandchildren to call her Mimi.

Sharon was preceded in death by her older sister Betty Sherman; her first husband, Richie Johnson; and husband Wimbrick Beasely.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, January Wolfe and Jennifer Woolwine; her six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her youngest sister, Eva "Boots" Justice.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love as well as boundless memories that will last a lifetime.

In the last few years of her life she was lovingly cared for by the amazing caring staff and nurses at Kanawha Place in Charleston, and in the final few days of her life, by the incredible people of Hospice House. Words alone can not express our gratitude for the care and kindness she was given.

A gathering to celebrate Sharon will be held from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday evening, April 10, 2026 at the Wolfe's house. For those who knew Sharon, or would like to visit with the Woolwines and Wolfes, please stop by at 1864 Loudon Heights Road. Stories and hugs are welcome.
