Sherri Lynn Hinnerichs Wells, 50, of Dunbar, sadly passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.

She was born on August 24, 1972, in Los Angeles, California.

She attended South Charleston High School. She worked several years at the Charleston Gazette before becoming a stay at home mom and full-time caregiver for her daughter Jada.

Sherri was a wonderful and dedicated mother who would do anything for both of her girls. She had many family members whom she loved dearly, she will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Helvey; father, Stanley Hinnerichs Sr., and her brother Brian Hinnerichs.

Sherri is survived by her daughters, Tori and Jada Wells of Dunbar; her brothers and sister, Stanley Hinnerichs Jr. (Stephanie) of Indian Trail, NC, Jeanna Plants of Lusby, MD, Doug Hinnerichs (Robin) of Dunbar; nieces and nephews; Megan Hinnerichs, Morgan Hinnerichs, Jessica Mueller, Robbie Plants, Tasha Hinnerichs, Miles Hinnerichs, Dustie Elswick, Tyler Chapman; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
