Sheryl Lynn Vanoy, 56, of Dunbar met Jesus face to face on Sunday, September 15, 2019, after finally winning her battle with cancer.

Sheryl cherished her grandchildren; loved her Dodge Challengers and Rams and a good long car ride.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Guthrie; grandparents, Herman and Pearl Guthrie and Clarence and Dorothy Nichols; and uncle, Peachy Guthrie.

Sheryl is survived by her loving husband, Larry France; daughter, Brandi Evans and her husband, Carl of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Jacob, Jasmine, River, William, Karley, Olivia, and Heavenlee; mother, Dollie Guthrie of Sissonville; special aunt, Mary Fugate; sister, Carolyn Minick and her husband, Alex of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Jeffery Guthrie of Elkview and Matthew Guthrie of Smyrna, TN; special nieces, Leslie Martin of Scott Depot and Brianna Guthrie of Charleston; nephew, Jeffery Guthrie of Elkview; Buddy Dog of Smyrna TN; and a host of cousins and friends.

Sheryl's wish was to have a private celebration of her life held at a later date.
