Shirley Ann Sergent passed away on the evening of September 13, 2012 after a long illness.

She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and babysitter. She loved to cook for and entertain her family and friends. She was known to all as Meme (everyone's grandmother). She has now joined her husband, Jack, of 53 years in heaven and is finally at peace.

She is survived by her children, Mike and Kim Davis, Vicki and Ray Loughry and Angie Canter. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren, Laura Grace McCutcheon, Kingsley Moody, Kristen Loughry, Megan Loughry, Ryan Loughry, Tommy Lee Rannenberg, Nick Canter and Seth Canter and 1 great grandson, Jacob Rannenberg. Her surviving siblings include Helen Goodwin, Mary Sue Lyons, Patsy Gogas and Jackie Wright.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. at Cross Lanes Baptist Church on Sunday September 16th.

Visitation with family begins at 2 p.m.

Shirley will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A special note of gratitude to her youngest daughter Angie, for all the time you spent giving our mother and father the most loving care one person could give. We all are thankful for all that you did for them.
