Shirley Leah Boggess, 73, of Kenna Homes, South Charleston, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at the home of her granddaughter, Heather Fling in Sissonville.
She was retired from Columbia Gas Transmission Corp and was a graduate of DuPont High School. She was born in Harrisonville, Ohio and was raised in Belle.
Surviving are her children, William Edward Henry of South Charleston, Robert Lewis Henry and wife, Louise of Milton, James Frederick Boggess and wife, Lisa of Poca, Lois Jean Stone and husband, Michael of Kenna, Lori Ann Tinsley and husband, Brian of Hurricane; sister, Thelma Eggleston Clark and husband, Charles of St. Albans. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
