Shirley Ann Burdette, 78, of St. Albans, passed away with her daughters by her side on Friday, February 23, 2018.

She was born on January 30, 1940, in Charleston to the late Leroy and Helen McMillion.

She was not only the greatest mother but also a best friend.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Donald Burdette, brother; Thomas McMillion, sister; Janet Thompson, and grandson; TJ Anderson.

Shirley is survived by her daughters; Beverly Anderson of Dunbar, Melodee Dixon (Richard) of Charleston, Tracie Sigmon of St. Albans, brother; Jimmy McMillion of Charleston, grandchildren; Missy, Boo, Mimi, BJ, Jess, Brandi, Summer, great-grandchildren; Tyler, Marissa, Dalton, Lauren, Ashley, Connor, Shelby, Ollivia, Katybug, Alli, Nana, Kenzie, Chase, Jordan, and her dog Jake.

There is no service scheduled at this time.
