Obituary

Sidney Allen Kincaid, 80, of South Charleston, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Hubbard Hospice House.

He was a retired truck driver for the City of South Charleston and was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, Alum Creek. Mr. Kincaid was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was an avid WVU Mountaineer Football fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy, son, Wesley, granddaughter, Siera and brother, Delmar Hartwell.

Surviving are his sons, Allen Kincaid, Matthew Kincaid and his wife, Jennifer and Danny Kincaid, all of South Charleston; daughters, Margie Gilker and her husband, David of Colorado, Eva and Ava Kincaid of South Charleston; brother, Danny Hartwell of South Charleston; sister, Maxine Lawrence of Griffithsville; grandchildren, Teressa, Rebecca, Michael, Wayne, Jody, Christina, Michelle, Stacey, Timothy, Kathy, Matthew, Jr., Noah and Morgan; great grandchildren, Britany, Samantha, Erica, Sydni, Misty, Shianna, Amber, Skyler, Wesley, Dillon, Peyton, Sophia, Charles V, Hayley, Elizabeth, Alexis and Natalie.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Schultz Cemetery, Smith Creek.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
