Stephanie Dawn Walker, passed away after a long illness on September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Celebrating the life of Stephanie, 53 years young, born May 14, 1972 to the late Alice Kaye and Raymond Harold Huffman.

She was a devoted wife, sister and daughter. Over the years, Stephanie's house was open to many. The number of children that she helped her friends and family raise are numerous. She was very generous with her resources, time and love.

"This is the month to give thanks, so here it goes. My mom, she is always there when I need her. My sisters Sheila and Brook. For my husband who is always there for me, for my family and friends and for the children they have brought into my life."

Stephanie always ensured her furry companions were well cared for, she was also a devoted dog mom and feline friend.

Holidays were very important to her. As was helping her mother decorate for them. The decorating itself was often a tumultuous time, and would include several of her friends assisting. Add to that lots of loud "discussions" between mother and daughter over decorations. She also enjoyed the preparation of the family dinners that were included. Stephanie was a devoted caretaker to her parents in their final years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Phyllis Walker; and her sister-in-law, Susan Walker.

Left to cherish her memories are husband, Mark Walker, of St. Albans; sisters, Sheila Jarrett of St. Albans, and Brooke Huffman of Huntington; sister-in-law, Debbie Walker (Steve) of Cross Lanes; brother-in-law, Drake Walker of Indiana; nephews, Brandon Hayes of Pinch, Travis Walker (Christie), Randall Huffman and Carson Huffman of Huntington, WV; nieces, Danielle Hayes,  Louisville KY, Krysta Walker of Indiana; great-nieces, Riley Fleming, Cassandra, Viven, and Emmaline; Mark's aunt Phyllis Burke. She is also survived by her BFF and her "Ride or Die," Stephanie Nunn, and her son Bruce.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
