Steven Allen
White
December 5, 1955 – September 25, 2022
Steven Allen "Stevie" White of Charleston was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 25, 2022, but not without leaving a lasting memory and impact on all who knew him.
He was born December 5, 1955 to the late Herb and Edna (Cantrell) White.
Stevie was a self-employed painter and a talented musician. He enjoyed making you laugh with his quirky jokes and pranks. Stevie loved all types of music and would brighten your day by singing a little tune any opportunity he got. His heart, although medically was giving out on him, was so strong with love for his family and friends. He was a man of very little things in life but a giver of all that mattered. Stevie felt his purpose in life was to help others and with great pride he would do anything he could for his family, friends, and strangers. Stevie believed that all you needed in life was the Lord, love, and family. If you were blessed to have met him, you would know he believed in second chances and loved unconditionally.
He mourned his late son, Jeffrey "Jabo" White, but is now rejoicing in Heaven with him and his parents; brothers, Fred and Billy White; sisters, Janice White, Sharon Harris and her husband Mitch, Ruth Ann Parrish and he husband Freddy; mother-in-law, Jewell Burdette Cantrell; fathers-in-law, Shorty Burdette and John Cantrell; sister-in-law, Nancy Goff; brother-in-law, David Collins; nieces and nephews, Michelle White, April Goff Martin, Sissie Goff Johnson, Otis "Peanut" Stover, Jeremy White, Mike White, and many more. Oh what a day to rejoice with all who have went before us.
Stevie is survived by the true love of his life, Donna "Susie" White of 51 years; daughter, Donna McDonald (Mark); sons, Steven "Bear" White (Beth) and Steven White Jr (Chelsea); grandchildren, Courtney Combs, Kaitlyn Combs, Draven Pridemore, Allazae White Lawrence (Collin), Genevieve White, Conner McDonald and Isaiah White; and his great-grandchildren, Braezlyn Combs, Braedy Gunno, Landon White, Hampton Combs, Madden Lawrence and Zayne White.
