Susan Belle (Hartman) Wiseman, 73, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Bellaire of Devonshire.
Born March 3, 1943 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Don and Lillian (Kiser) Hartman.
Susan was nurse for 10 years at Dr. Bergman's office on Stockton Street in Charleston before she had children and then became the best homemaker anyone could ask for. She was a member of Charleston First Church of the Nazarene on the West Side where she taught Sunday School for 30+ years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred C. and Mildred Hartman, who raised her as their daughter, Eustace Gorman and Mary C. Kiser; aunts and uncles, who were like brothers and sisters, Fred Jr. "Whitey", Robert "Red", George, Jerry "Ike", Paul, and Bobby Jack Hartman, Margaret Ann Robinson, Naoma Dodd, and Suzanne Lore; aunts, Vivian Rice, Marion "Jinx" McClure, Frances Hill; and uncle, Gorman Kiser.
Surviving is her loving husband of 48 years, John D Wiseman Jr.; daughter, Whitney "Nikki" White (Hop) of Hurricane; son, John "Andy" Wiseman (Leslie) of Hurricane; grandchildren, Savannah & Sam White, Miley, Jayden and soon be Wesley Wiseman, and Hannah Harrison; aunt, Phyllis Hawes; and very special cousins, Barbara, Jenny, Debbie, Velva, Billy, Gary, Angela, Bobby, Kerry Lynn and Jerry.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at Charleston First Church of the Nazarene, 200 Park Avenue, Charleston with Pastor Randy Lanham officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, at the church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
