Syble L. Anderson, 85, of Dunbar, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, at Hubbard House, after a long illness.
Syble was a 35 year employee of the Kanawha County Board of Education, as a school bus driver and as a supervisor. She was a seven year member of the South Hills Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brothers, and sisters, and her granddaughter, Heather Brooks Carmichael.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, sons, Paul Branard of Dunbar, Donald R. Anderson and wife, Sarah of Beckley; daughters, Diana B. Gates of Columbus, OH, Pam Williamson and husband Don of Elkview, and Kelly Anderson of Cross Lanes and special friend who was like a daughter, Nancy Brooks of New York; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. John Pritchard and the Rev. Moses Selvaraj officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 25, and one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
