Sylvia I. Heater, lovingly known as "Cake", 95, of Dunbar, passed on to be with her Savior on Thursday, November 29, 2018.

Sylvia was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching her "soaps" and spending time with her family.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Dorsey and Ethel Reedy of Charleston; husband, Charles W. Heater; son, Charles S. Heater; and her twelve siblings.

She is survived by her children, Linda Stover (Dennis) of Dunbar, Vonda Holley (William) of Nitro, Ronald Heater (Bethany) of Nitro; seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Tom Price officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
