Sylvia Dawn Skeens' Obituary
Sylvia Dawn Skeens, 21, of Dunbar, was born on February 8, 1989. She went to see Jesus on September 13, 2010.
She was the daughter of Sharon and David Skeens.
She loved animals and anime. Her passion was drawing anime art. She was afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis, asthma and diabetes. She was an inspiration and encouragement to all of those who have met and heard of her courageous battle for life. She was an organ donor and will bless others with the gift of life.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia is survived by her sisters, Kimberly and Heather Skeens; grandparents, Wanda and Greg Igo and James and Linda Ward; great-grandparents, Mary Schaible, Francis Ward and Genevieve Igo; uncles, Ben Ward and Jim Skeens; aunts, Beth Doss and Dianna Habberfield; fiancé, Leighton Reopelle.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Pastor Aaron Ouelette officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 16, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
