Talisa Ann Fox Brunette went  home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 3, 2023 after a short illness, and a long successful bout with cancer.

Talisa was born April 30, 1961 to the late Freda and Kenny Fox.  She attended South Charleston High School, and earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Marshall University.  She is well known in the community for her work in management at The State Journal, Clay Center, Children's Therapy Clinic, and WVMedcorps.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her nephew, Matt Parsons.

Talisa is survived by her brother, Robert Parsons of Dunbar; nephew, Jamie Parsons (Tamara) of Hebron, KY; aunt, Janet Snodgrass of South Charleston; along with many cousins, friends, and two of the three "Golden Girls" Vonda Matthews and Robin Carr.
