Tanner Macrae Quigley, 22, of Saint Albans, West Virginia passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 11, 2024.

Born on August 7, 2002 to Eric Todd & Kelly S. Quigley, he was a 2021 graduate of Saint Albans High School.

Tanner had been a vibrant young man who lived life to the fullest, passionately engaging in a variety of hobbies.  He was known for his love of music, was often found playing his guitar for friends and family or exploring new sounds and learning new songs to play.  An adventurous spirit, Tanner enjoyed whitewater rafting/kayaking, rock climbing, ziplining, parasailing, and freestyling his BMX bike all over town, always seeking the thrill of the great outdoors.  In quieter moments, he could be found immersed in video games or just hanging out, where he enjoyed connecting with friends.

Tanner had a particular fondness for culinary delights, especially the hot & spicy.  He loved his father's homemade fajitas, enchiladas, and chicken tikka masala.  He was often heard lamenting for the majority of people who, "…just don't know what good food is."  He cherished his travels and was looking forward to planning a Caribbean vacation in the summer.  His favorite country was Germany (he was convinced they had the best food).

Preceding him in death were his mother, Kelly; and grandfathers, Albert T. Quigley and Jack L. Rose.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Todd; brother, Devin Quigley; grandmothers, Rose Quigley and Katie Rose; his aunt, uncles, cousins, and the many friends he made along life's journey.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome friends two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
