Teresa "Terry" Lynn Thomas

Teresa “Terry” Lynn Thomas, 71, of Dunbar, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

Terry retired from CASCI in March 2023 after 35 years of service. Since retirement, she has been working at Kroger in Ashton Place.

Terry loved her family and was always there to cheer them on during sporting events and recitals. She loved the holidays and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching reality tv with her sister and attending trivia nights.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas; parents, Dallas and Jeanie Garrett; brother, Chip Garrett; and companion, Mark Thomas.

Terry is survived by her sons, Chris Hunt (Crystal) and Shannon Taylor; daughter, April Bissias (James); siblings, Alice King and Cindy Elkins (Steve); grandchildren, Garrett, Olivia, Quentin, Ronan, Madison, Matthew, Emma, and Lily; many nieces and nephews; along with her fur baby, BB.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends and family may gather one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
