Thelma M Quick Pickrell, of Cross Lanes, was born on December 5, 1935 and went home to be with her Lord on January 27, 2014.

Thelma graduated from Stonewall high school in 1954 and married Okey R. Pickrell on April 2, 1955. She worked for the Bank of Dunbar and Cross Lanes Library. Thelma was a member of Cross Lanes Bible Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Youell H. Quick; mother, Eileen Quick; sister, Faye Quick Dunlap; and brother, Y. Howard Quick Jr.

Thelma is survived by her brother, Norman K. (Evelyn) Quick of Columbus, OH; husband, Okey R. Pickrell; son, Ronald C. (Tauni) Pickrell; son, Gregery A. Pickrell; daughter, Sheryl A. Montgomery of Toledo, OH; seven grandchildren, Steven R. Pickrell of Charleston, Caitlin E. Pickrell, Brandon Pickrell of Parkersburg, Caleb R. Pickrell, Haley N. Pickrell of Lakeland, Fl., Devon B. Montgomery, Adam B. Montgomery of Toledo, OH.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, January 31 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 1 at Cross Lanes Bible Church with Pastor Dave Buckley officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
