Theresa Gay Branham, 67, of Charleston passed away April 5, 2024 after a long illness.

Born in Harlan, Kentucky to parents James Branham and Carol Urey who have since passed.

Theresa previously live in Montana, North Carolina, and Ohio, before settling in West Virginia. She was married to Roger Hanna, who passed away in December of 2008.

Before becoming disabled, Theresa was a Food Service Worker at K-Mart on Patrick Street.  At one time, she was also a care giver to her mother-in-law.
Theresa enjoyed reading, playing games on her I-Pad, doing puzzles, watching game shows and Westerns, along with visiting with her family and friends. She was, also, member of New Prospect Baptist Church.

Theresa was the mother of four beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn Ashbrook (Anthony) of Johnstown, OH, Brandy Foster (James) of Charleston, Anna Wilson (Jamie) of Newark, OH, Ashley Parr (Kurt) of Newark, OH.  Theresa was a wonderful Nana,  to her eight grandsons, AJ, Matthew, Noah, Konnor, Nathan, Mason, Gavin, and another Gavin; three granddaughters, Hope, Jenna, and Arabella, and was known as Nana to many.  She is, also, survived by many nieces, nephews, and family members as well as her faithful companion Blaze, and sister Jackie Curtis of Newport, VA.

A private family memorial service has already taken place.
