Thomas G. Burger, 59, of Dunbar, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

He was born on September 26, 1957 the son of the late Charles and Hilda Burger.

Tommy retired from DuPont after many years of service. He loved playing sports, especially volleyball, riding his Harley, and spending time with his daughter and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Burger and niece, Lorrie Burger-Fenn.

Tommy is survived by his only child, Charlyn "Charlee" Young of Charleston; his companion of almost 25 years, Kathy Young of Dunbar; sister, Margaret Spurlock (Bryan) of Dunbar; sister-in-law, Nannette Burger; niece and nephews, Stephanie Burger, Ben Spurlock and Adam Spurlock.

A memorial service will be held at 7p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
