Thomas L. Creighton, 87, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 29, 2024.

He was born on July 23, 1937 in South Charleston, to the late George and Leulla Creighton.

Thomas served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He work at Union Carbide as a mechanical engineer for around 45 years and later retired from MTI Corporation.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Creighton; and his two brothers, George Creighton Jr., and Johnny Creighton.

Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Lee Creighton of Austin, TX; daughters, Mary R. Pauley of South Charleston, Sara Burns of Nitro; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 5, in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
