Thomas John Madakacherry, 64, of St. Albans, passed away Wednesday, May 23, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Huntington.
He was an employee of C&O Motors and was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Albans. Mr. Madakacherry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Moose Lodge in St. Albans and was a member of the Indian Air Force. He was a native of Edathua, in Kerala, India.
Preceding him in death were his brothers, Laly John Madakacherry and Father Joseph Madakacherry.
He is survived by Virgil Thomas Madakacherry of Pittsburgh, Pa, Odessa Carmel Madakacherry of Charleston and Valerie Madakacherry of Charleston. Also surviving are brothers, John Madakacherry of Ann Arbor, MI, Antony Madakacherry of Chattanooga, TN, Jacob John and John Zacharias Madakacherry of New York City; sister, Elema Kurian of India.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Patrick McDonough officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
