Obituary

Thomas W. Nutter, of Winfield, passed away from a brief illness on Monday, February 24, 2020.

He was born in Charleston on March 3, 1950.

He was the youngest son of the late Clarence E. and Nellie M. Myers Nutter.

After graduating from Charleston High School, Thomas enlisted in the United States Air Force as Strategic Air Command during the Vietnam War serving his country proudly. He was an airplane and automobile mechanic and retired from Bert Wolfe Ford.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, William M. Nutter and Clarence E. Nutter Jr.; sisters, Mary Jane Cunningham and Rebecca F. Parker.

Thomas is survived by his sisters, L. Annette LeMasters of Elkview, Delphia E. Rhodes of Vienna, VA, Charlotte M. Withrow of Manassas, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to his dear friends, John and Cheryl Casto.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday March 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor David Keeney officiating. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.

Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 2, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
