Thomas G. Romine Sr., 77, of Dunbar, formerly of Charleston, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023.

He was born on October 1, 1945 in Charleston to the late Warren and Virginia Walker Romine.

Thomas was a member of the American Legion after serving six years in the Army.  After 25 years of service, he retired as a Forman at Welding Incorporation.  Thomas also enjoyed delivering the Charleston Gazette Daily Mail for more than 30 years.  Many will remember him as a loving father, brother, and son.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Jerry Romine; sisters, Jean Ramsey and Pamela Gilbert.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elsie Romine; daughter, Samantha Velazquez (Matthew) of Charleston; and, his grandchildren.

A service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
