Thomas Roscoe Thaxton's Obituary
Thomas Roscoe Thaxton, 85, of Charleston, departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
He was a mechanic for Royal Oldsmobile for 30 plus years.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, L.B. and Janie Thaxton; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Thaxton; sons, Rex D. Thaxton and his wife, Donna, and Norman R. Thaxton and his fiancée, Diane Clark; daughter, Myrna Cobb and her husband, John; nine grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 19, at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories with Pastor Daniel Reed officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
