Timothy Allen Vaughn's Obituary
Timothy Allen Vaughn, 52, passed away at the Hubbard Hospice House on August 18, 2007, following a long courageous battle with Osteosarcoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Vaughn and grandparents, Hubert and Thelma Hoffman and Archie and Kathryn Vaughn.
Tim is survived by his mother and step-father, Melba and William "Bill" Smith; daughters, Amy Berry of Venice, FL and Samantha McDonald of Frederick, MD; half-sisters, Kelli Peck and Cheryl Halaoui, both of Edmond, OK; step-mother, Barbara Vaughn of Sunland, CA; step-brothers, Scott Smith of Culloden and David Smith of Fresno, CA; step-sister, Virginia Taylor of Neptune Beach, FL.
The family wishes to express our thanks to Tim's special friends, Bobbi and Darren Brown, of South Charleston, for their loving care during his illness.
To the staff of Kanawha Hospice and the Hubbard Hospice House, our sincerest appreciation for the love and care you provided.
A memorial service celebrating Tim's life will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2007, in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 905 Glendale Avenue, South Charleston, with the Reverend Dr. Okey Harless, Pastor of First Church United Methodist, Dunbar, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
