Tony Russell Cozort's Obituary
Tony Russell Cozort, 48, of Marmet passed away at home after a long illness. As a believer in Christ, he is now home in heaven.
He loved God's outdoors - fishing and camping. He liked to draw, liked history, and liked being around people.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beatrice and Mike Hill.
He was the loving son of Linda Lou Cozort of Marmet. He loved his daughters, Heather Gay of Poca, and Lindsay White of Sissonville, and his grandchildren, Braylin and Koby Gay and Blake White. He was beloved by his family and will be missed by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jill and John Petry of Chesapeake, Pam and Kevin Furr of Teays Valley; his nieces, Andria Petry of Indiana, Alyssa Petry of Chesapeake, Alexandrea and Delaney Furr of Teays Valley; aunt and uncle, Nathan and Mary Sharp; cousins and many other relatives.
A private memorial service for family and close friends at the Family Worship Center, Chesapeake.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Blvd., South Charleston, WV 25309, or, Davis Child Shelter, 1145 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, 25311
