Tony Edward Paxton, 63, of Saint Albans passed away at home on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

He was born on June 30, 1962, to the late Garland and Ellen Paxton.

Tony was a retired truck driver.  He lived life to the fullest.  Tony enjoyed the time he spent with his grandkids and great-grandkids and was proud to be called "Papa".  He loved hanging out with friends, watching WVU football and the San Francisco 49ers.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his son, Tristen Paxton.

He was loved and will missed by many.  Tony is survived by his wife of 27 years, Candy Ann Paxton; his children, Lesley Davis (Virginia), Larissa Starling, and Dylan Paxton; nine grandkids; ten great-grandkids; his brothers, John Paxton (Amy), Greg Paxton (Hope), and Tim Paxton; his two nieces and five nephews, that he was very close with; along with many close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
