Treasa Lou Herndon, age 58, entered heaven on August 29, 2010.

Treasa is the daughter of Ray and Bess Herndon previously of Dunbar. Her sister Anna and brothers, Steve, Randy and Gary continue to thank God for the blessing of a wonderful and loving sister.

Blind from birth, Treasa suffered a fall in December of 2004 that left her paralyzed. In spite of her suffering she continued to praise and glorify Christ by and through the life that she lived. She was a living, loving testimony of grace and strength found only in a relationship with her Lord and Savior.

Treasa is survived by Anna Herndon Fisher of Hayes Virginia, Randy and Jeanie Herndon, Gary and Lynette Herndon and Steve and Martha Herndon of Nashville Tennessee, 3 special neices, Misti, Jessica and Anna and 8 special nephews, Mickey, RB, Daniel, Joshua, Boomer, Jason, Joey and Drew with 9 great neices and nephews that love her dearly. In addition to immediate family Treasa's love has touched the hearts of all her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and special friends and she will be truly missed by everyone.

Visitation with her family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 31 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Her celebration service will begin at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, September 1, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
