Obituary

Trena Jean Chandler Osborne, went home to Heaven on October 4, 2022.

Trena was born on December 25, 1941, in Charleston, WV. She graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School, and went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Marshall University. Over her career she taught all levels - elementary, middle school, and high school - for over 35 years; both in West Virginia and Florida. She was a long-time member of Spring Hill Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, served as a Deaconess, taught Bible School, and worked in AWANA.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Dennis L. "Ozzie" Osborne II, to whom she was married to for 44 years; mother, Phyllis Bailey Hutchinson; father, Joseph Chandler; step-father, Howard Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Jane Osborne; son-in-law, James "Bill" Mundy; step-brother, Robert Hutchinson; and fur companion, Chicka.

Trena is survived by her three children; Kelli Mundy (Scott Murphy), Karen Cochran (Gray), and Lance Osborne; grandsons, Matthew Mundy, Mitchell Mundy (Lloyd Alderman); and great- grandsons, Brayden Mundy-Alderman and Bryton Mundy-Alderman; step-sister, Jan D'Aguano; and her fur companion, Cherub.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Dennis Barnhart officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 7, at Keller funeral Home, Dunbar.
