Tressie Jean "Jeannie" Burdette, 60, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 21, 1957 in Charleston to the late Otis and Betty Butler.Jeannie was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and a friend to many. She was loved and will be missed by all.

Jeannie loved going to bingo, fishing, crafting, shopping and playing games. She very much loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and her dog, Pooh Bear.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Ann Yates.

She is survived by her son, Shannon Butler and wife, Julie, of Sissonville; brothers, Johnny Lawell Butler and wife, Shelia, of Elkview, William Ray Butler and companion, Kimmie, of Pratt, Shawn Eugene Butler and wife, Traice, of Bomont; sister, Reba Lynn Butler of Charleston; grandchildren, Megan Nicole Taylor-Wenning and husband, Dave, of Ohio, Aimee Dawn Taylor-Critchfield and husband, Eric, of Sissonville, Josie Renee Derrick of Charleston, Aric Douglas Taylor of Sissonville, Chloe Danae Derrick of Sissonville, Sheyanne Lanae Butler and Brody Michael Butler of Sissonville; great-grandchildren, Maddilyn Dawn Wenning and Noah Thor Critchfield.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar
