Trilba McCoy Hicks, 96, of Charleston passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

She was born on April 27, 1928  in Floyd County, KY to Jarvey  and Lula Newman McCoy.

Trilba owned Better Cleaning Service and Tan Tamer Tanning Salon.  She also attended Walker Chapel in Tuppers Creek.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Steven and Jerry Wayne Hicks; daughter, Teresa Burgess; and two grandchildren, Andrew Campbell and Amanda Hicks.

Left to cherish Trilba's memory are her daughters, Patricia Haynes (Jerry), Dreama Smith, and Freda Campbell; sons, Johnny, Dana, Carl (Denise), and Charles Hicks (Penny); along with 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank HospiceCare for all of their help in Trilba's final days.

A funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Ralph Sevy officiating. Burial will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville.

Family will welcome visitors one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
