Obituary

Vada Louise "Maw Maw" Wingett, 83, passed away on January 5, 2010, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Putnam County to the late Dave and Lena Lovejoy. She had been a resident of Dunbar for 62 years and was known to many at White's Dunbar Mart as "Maw Maw" for the best hot dogs in town.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford and her son, Jerry and six brothers.

Surviving are her son, Darrell Lee Wingett and his wife, Carol of Dunbar; daughters, Patricia Ann Hornick of Dunbar and Janet Sue Snyder and her husband, Allen of Dunbar; one sister, Glady Faber of Liberty. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Jerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
